Eye Camps for the Benefit of TWIN Beneficiaries

VISION RXLAB Pvt. Ltd., as part of their CSR initiative, held two eye camps, Better Vision Programme, for Tollygunge Women In Need.  One eye camp was held within the WIN House premises, on March 4, 2024 from 10.30 am to 3.30 pm. Another one was held within the Diamond Harbour Project Office premises, on March 5, 2024 from 10.00am to 3.00 pm.

Three optometrists attended to 125 beneficiaries and other participants of the TWIN (Tollygunge project), within the WIN House. The staff of the Tollygunge project assisted them implement the programme smoothly.  The optometrists prescribed spectacles for 108 beneficiaries after their vision tests. These will be provided, free of cost, at a later date.

Three other optometrists attended to 184 TWIN (Diamond Harbour project) beneficiaries, sponsored guardians, teachers and staff. The teachers and staff of this project assisted in the smooth implementation of the program. 165 of those who underwent this vision test were prescribed spectacles. They will be provided their spectacles later, free of cost.
